INSERTING LINKS AND FILES INTO A WIKI - Wednesday 19th October 2011-

- How to insert a link to a web page:

  1. Write the text you want to be shown.
  2. Select the text.
  3. Go to Link in the toolbar.
  4. Open the Enllaç extern tab.
  5. Write the internet address.
  6. Tick Finestra nova if you want the page to open in a new window.
  7. Click Add Link.

- How to insert any type of file:

  1. Go to File in the toolbar.
  2. Go to the Inseriu arxius tab.
  3. Click on Upload files.
  4. Browse for your file and select it. It should appear on the left list.
  5. Select Mostreu Arxius.
  6. Select Cliqueu arxiu incrustat.
  7. Double click on your file.
  8. It will appear on your wiki as a link to download the file. You won't be able to visulize it, though.







- How to insert images:

  1. Go to File in the toolbar.
  2. Go to the Inseriu arxius tab.
  3. Click on Upload files.
  4. Browse for your file and select it. It should appear on the left list.
  5. Select Mostreu Imatges.
  6. Select Cliqueu arxiu incrustat.
  7. Double click on your file.
  8. It will appear on your wiki.

- How to insert a ppt file:

- How to insert a video:

  1. Go to Widget in the toolbar.
  2. On the left frame click on video.
  3. Choose your video server.
  4. Go to the video on that you want to embed.
  5. Look for the "Embeddable" or "Embed" or field on the video page.
  6. Copy the code in the box provided by wiki. Some servers will give you some options, like choosing the size of your video, or showing other videos after playing it. You should choose your options before copying the code.
  7. Save and it's done!




- How to inset a JCLIC:

1. Go to the JClic activity you want to add and copy the "código para incrustar".
2. Go to the Widget in the toolbar.
3. On the left frame click on "Altres HTML".
4. Copy the "código para incrustar" (embed) in the rectangle.
5. Save (guardar) and it's done!
