What textbooks do you use? What do you like about them? What don't you like about them? What about their digital materials?
SURPRISE by OXFORD
I think that the best of Surprise are its STORIES. Go to its website and listen, watch and read them. At Cicle Mitjà children love acting them out!
I think that the worst of Surprise are the LISTENING ACTIVITIES: very few and extremely simple, mainly focused on vocabulary. And nothing to do what children find in Competències Bàsiques, at 6th grade. However, I make up my own listening activities for the texts on the book, to focus on comprehension.
At the PDI materials you get all the songs and stories plus some grammar and vocabulary games to play with children. Also you have all the listening materials. It's a useful tool, to complement your everyday work. ÀNGELS
